Our Story
From a small maintenance team to industry leaders in building system monitoring
Bozake Mukaika was founded in 2012 by mechanical engineer David Bozake and electrical engineer Sarah Mukaika, who met while working on complex system repairs for a large commercial property management firm. They noticed a recurring pattern: most catastrophic system failures showed warning signs hours or even days before the actual breakdown.
Frustrated by the preventable damage and expensive repairs they were constantly witnessing, they developed a prototype monitoring system for a local office building, installing sensors throughout the structure's critical systems. Within the first month, their system detected early signs of a failing water pump that could have flooded the building's server room.
Word of their innovative approach spread, and by 2015, they had expanded to monitor over 100 buildings across eastern Canada. Today, Bozake Mukaika employs over 120 engineers, technicians, and system specialists, protecting more than 1,200 commercial and residential buildings with our state-of-the-art monitoring technology and rapid response capabilities.
